Instructions for use

Sterilisation Wraps have been validated to preserve sterility and prevent wet packs with intended use in the following Sterilisation modes and cycles when wrapping medical devices in the healthcare provider environment using moist heat steriliser (saturated steam):

• Pre-vacuum Steam Cycle
• 3.5 – 5 Minutes Exposure between 132°C/270°F and 137°C/278°F with the minimum dry time of 20 minutes
• Gravity Steam Cycle
• 30 minutes exposure at 250ºF/121ºC with the minimum dry time 20 minutes
• Ethylene Oxide
• 180 Minutes Exposure to 790mg/L of 100% Ethylene Oxide at 113°F/45°C and 45-80% relative humidity followed by 3 days of aeration/desorption between 35°C and 45°C
• Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) Low Temperature
• Injections at 140°F/60°C using Steriplas2000 Hydrogen Peroxide Gas Plasma steriliser.

1. Place instruments on wrapper and wrap using typical aseptic technique.
2. Secure with a common closure (tape or alternate closure suitable for the Sterilisation method to be used) and label.
3. Closure must 1) allow the sterilant to penetrate the wrapped package, 2) avoid constriction of the package and 3) maintain package integrity
